Allied Consultants has been contracted with the Texas State Government for 33 years, we are a Top Ten ranked vendor, and premier provider of technical and business staffing solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior RPA Developer to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).

Work hours and Location

8:00AM-5:00PM CST Monday through Friday

Job Location: 701 W 51st Street Austin, Texas 78751**

Hybrid: 2 days onsite- Mondays and Tuesdays, and 3 days remote- Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX.

The Department of Information Resources (DIR) requires the service of one (1) Software Engineer 3 position who meets the general qualifications of Software Engineer 3 and the specifications outlined in this document for the above-named customer. The Software Engineer 3 contractor position is part of the client's IT Administrative Applications Robotic Process Automation (RPA) team and will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining RPA solutions. The Software Engineer 3 will perform developer duties that will include solution design and development, process automations, infrastructure management, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The contractor role is for a senior robotics developer for technologies that may include BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure. The role will be responsible for developing, testing, and troubleshooting bots that will automate various business processes. Hands-on experience with BluePrism, Microsoft Power Automate, and Azure is a must along with the ability to troubleshoot and validate HTTP responses. Knowledge of DOM, HTTP protocol, JavaScript, and HTML is also required. This will be a fast-paced project working in an Agile (Kanban/Scrum) environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

8 years of:

  • Hands-on experience with RPA development, with at least 4 years specifically using Blue Prism
  • Experience with web development including HTML, JavaScript, DOM and HTTP protocol.
  • Experience with SQL/No-SQL databases
  • Experience with RESTful web services

Preferred:

4 years of:

  • Experience with API development
  • Experience with process discovery, requirements gathering, and solution architecture
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python

3 years of:

  • Experience with Azure infrastructure including troubleshooting
  • Experience with software development using Agile methodology

1 year of:

  • Experience with Power Automate development
  • BluePrism Certification
  • Microsoft Power Platform Developer Certification
  • Prior experience supporting Health and Human Services and OIG
