Services Description (Summary)

This role requires strong experience in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) governance and maintenance, particularly with ServiceNow CMDB following the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework. The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert in configuration management processes, ensuring compliance with policies and industry standards, leading projects, managing CMDB lifecycle, and driving continuous improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities

ServiceNow CMDB Consultant (Onsite)

• Lead and manage the configuration management process and deliverables.
• Develop and implement configuration management strategies aligned with organization goals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure configuration management program objectives.
• Manage end-to-end complex configuration management projects and initiatives.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of configuration management processes.
• Implement and manage all aspects of configuration management best practices to support business and future growth opportunities.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless integration of configuration management practices.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and different teams.
• Actively investigate, propose, and implement continuous process improvements.
• Provide regular reporting to all key stakeholders covering governance, CMDB maturity, data quality, CMDB roadmap activities, and metric reports/KPIs, including:
• CMDB Audit and Gap Analysis Report
• Configuration Management KPIs and reporting dashboard
• Monthly Configuration Management Status Reports
• Training materials and recorded sessions
