Job Title: Senior Cloud Consultant

Remote

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Consultant to lead cloud strategy, design, and implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise IT and deep expertise in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). This role involves working with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cloud architecture design and migration strategies for enterprise workloads
  • Assess current infrastructure and recommend modernization plans
  • Design and implement cloud-native applications and services
  • Advise on cloud best practices including security, performance, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust cloud implementations
  • Conduct workshops and stakeholder sessions to define cloud adoption roadmaps
  • Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory standards
  • Mentor junior engineers and consultants

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) ( 12 to 15 years of total experience)
  • Strong understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Expertise in cloud networking, security, identity and access management
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
  • Proficient in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and DevOps principles
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills
