Customer location in Holly Springs, North Carolina

How will you make an impact?

  • Under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager
  • Assist in organization of staff and workload to meet or exceed productivity performance standards at assigned customer site(s).
  • Assists in training of new hire employees or cross training of existing staff.
  • Gathers data to support the maintenance of records that may include training, key performance indicators and other information required by either company or customer.
  • Demonstrates communication skills to support team members and key clients
  • Drive excellence through clear communication, scientific collaboration, service scope expansion, SLA adherence, development of business metrics, and team management
  • Champion innovation and practical process improvement in the program


Responsibilities

  • Instills a customer-focused culture that promotes loyalty through the delivery of market leading customer experience.
  • For Business Continuity purposes, ensures all team members are properly trained and procedures and policies are accurately documented.
  • Assigns and follows the workflow to ensure excellent service is delivered through appropriate staff planning, people development, improvement projects, and scheduling to meet/exceed all of the clients and leadership goals.
  • Establishes a continuous improvement environment and coaches and mentors process improvement activities or projects which team members conduct.
  • Perform laboratory services such as glassware collection/cleaning, biological waste collection/sterilization, media preparation, and/or chemical inventory receipt/reconciliation.
  • Delivers direct shipment orders to end users, performs deliveries as required.
  • Collection of pipettors and maintaining calibration documentation
  • Escorting of vendors
  • Maintains KPIs and metrics to finds opportunities for improvement and cascades the monitoring and actions to the team leaders.
  • Manages outsourced resources to improve productivity, effectiveness, and the team's workload.
  • Maintain areas in high state of inspection readiness including laboratory housekeeping and compliance
  • Complete task associated to operations
  • Perform verification/approval of peer documentation in electronic systems and equipment logbooks in adherence with SOP's.
  • Align with company vision and mission of cross training and support different areas of service as require base on business needs and as assigned by Supervisor.


How will you get here?

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proven excellence in developing customer relationships


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Focus on laboratory safety
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills; including experience writing procedures and presentation skills
  • Heightened attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in MS Office (with heightened proficiency in Excel) and experience using other computer software programs
  • Strong customer service skills
