We are seeking two Principal Program Management Managers, Data Engineering to oversee the development of an organization-wide portfolio of data capabilities, ensuring responsive and high-quality data for business needs. These positions demand leaders with a passion for leveraging data to address business challenges, as well as the enthusiasm to manage a team of skilled technical program managers. The successful candidates will play a critical role in shaping how one of the world's largest companies utilizes data to foster meaningful connections with every customer.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the relationships with multiple Data Engineering stakeholders within the Marketing organization, and be the bridge between business teams and Data Engineering
  • Deeply understand the business strategy and needs of our customers, and continuously identify opportunities
  • Lead a team to define technical requirements based on business specifications, build data capability roadmaps, create data quality and monitoring requirements, collaborate with Data Engineers to implement successful solutions and influence and negotiate with partner stakeholders for cross-team dependencies impacting roadmaps
  • Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modeling, coaching, and caring
  • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and customer-focus within the team

Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 3+ years of experience in program management in the IT arena for a large highly matrixed organization (of 2,000+ employees).
  • Experience growing partnerships by forging a relationship with internal/external clients, understanding their objectives, and recommending best strategies.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years people management experience.
  • 8+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Experience working in Marketing.
Technical Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
