Job Description

The Network Engineer will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable network solutions for a global enterprise environment. This role will play a key part in enabling high-performance connectivity across retail operations, corporate offices, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design enterprise-grade network solutions for retail operations, corporate offices, and cloud connectivity.

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of Cisco Meraki wireless and switching infrastructure.

  • Design and manage Cisco SD-WAN deployments for resilient, cost-effective connectivity.

  • Engineer and maintain secure environments using Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Prisma cloud services.

  • Develop scalable routing and switching architectures (BGP, OSPF, OMP).

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network solutions with business requirements.

  • Perform network assessments, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

  • Create and maintain detailed network documentation (topology diagrams, configuration standards, design guides).

  • Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a technical lead on network-related projects and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of network engineering experience in enterprise or retail environments.

  • Expert-level knowledge of Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.

  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, Panorama, and security policies.

  • Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols.

  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS) and hybrid environments.

  • Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Meraki Dashboard, SolarWinds, vManage).

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

  • Preferred Certifications: CCNP, Cisco Meraki CMNA/CMNO, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with retail store networks, POS systems, guest Wi-Fi, and IoT devices.

  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and network segmentation strategies.
