Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems/Network Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations within the organization. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to managing IT-related challenges in a fast-paced environment.
o Provide on-site support for end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and effectively.
o Diagnose and resolve technical problems with desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals.
o Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
o Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN configurations.
o Monitor and maintain server and workstation performance, escalating issues when necessary.
o Support the administration of IT systems such as email, file storage, and security tools.
o Inventory and Asset Management
o Track and manage IT hardware and software inventory, ensuring accurate records and availability.
o Coordinate hardware repairs and replacements with vendors or service providers.
o Work closely with the IT team to implement upgrades, patches, and new technologies.
o Participate in IT projects, system rollouts, and other organizational initiatives as required.
Skills Required:
o Experience providing on-site support for end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly and effectively
o Experience managing/maintain network and systems infrastructure; Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN configurations, maintain server and workstation performance, administration of IT systems such as email, file storage, and security tools
Experience with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
Candidates need to be able to hold their own in a manufacturing environment; "boots and hardhat" mentality as some of the technology they support is on the manufacturing floor; need to be able to interface with non technical stakeholders and drive IT initiatives forward
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
