RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT Access Administration Analyst in Houston, TX.
Summary:
The IT Access Administration Analyst II is responsible for managing and supporting access control and identity management across enterprise platforms. This contract role has the potential to convert to permanent employment.
The Analyst will provision and de-provision user access, enforce security policies, and automate access control processes to maintain a secure environment. Collaboration with internal teams is essential to ensure proper access rights, streamline requests, and support compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provision and de-provision user access in Active Directory
* Manage Exchange distribution lists, mailboxes, calendars, and conference rooms
* Administer NTFS folder structures and enforce AD password policies
* Generate reports on access permissions and group memberships for audits
* Monitor logging systems and assist with documentation of access policies and standards
* Troubleshoot access-related issues and identify security improvements
* Support compliance and audit processes through detailed reporting and analysis
REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
* Relevant certifications (preferred but not required): CISSP, Security+, CAMS, CIAM, CIGE
* Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Must-Have Technical Skills:
* Active Directory
* NTFS (Windows file system permissions)
* Azure (Entra ID)
* Microsoft Teams
* SailPoint Identity Governance
Preferred/Bonus Skills:
* PowerShell scripting
* Splunk monitoring and analysis
* O365 provisioning
* SharePoint access management
Additional Requirements:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience in IT security or access administration (3+ years preferred)
* Familiarity with group policies, ACLs, and security configurations
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
