Job Description:


Mandatory Areas
Must Have Skills
Skill 1 Hands-on expertise in Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) in a production enterprise environment.
Skill 2 Strong networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPN tunneling (GRE/IPSec/SSL).
Skill 3 Experience with Zscaler policy frameworks: ZIA security policies, ZPA access policies, app segmentation, authentication, context-aware access.
Skill 4 Deep understanding of proxy and firewall architecture, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and forwarding methods (Client files, Client Connector, GRE, IPSec tunnels).
Skill 5 Strong knowledge of authentication and identity protocols: SAML, SSO, SCIM, LDAP.
Skill 6 Experience integrating Zscaler with SIEM, Azure AD, identity platforms, and endpoint management solutions.
Skill 7 Proficiency in troubleshooting: log analysis, packet captures, traffic flow analysis, performance optimization.
Skill 8 Excellent documentation skills: architecture diagrams, policy templates, runbooks.
Domain Experience (If any)
Enterprise IT Security and Networking domain with focus on Cloud Security, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE).
Must Have Certifications
Zscaler Certified Professional ZIA/ZPA or equivalent certification.

ZSCALER ENGINEER

  • Experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA)
  • Work experience with creating ZIA policy and ZPA policy within Zscaler.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, VPNs, proxies, firewalls, and routing protocols.
  • Work on Zscaler tickets and open up access for users the trouble shoot Zscaler issues
