Inventory Optimization
- Monitor inventory levels and lead efforts to reduce shortages and overages.
- Use data and trend analysis to improve inventory turnover and material availability.
- Recommend adjustments to safety stock and reorder points to align with operational changes.
Process Improvement & Collaboration
- Identify and implement best practices to increase accuracy, efficiency, and supplier responsiveness.
- Support new product introductions and engineering changes with timely material planning.
- Contribute to departmental KPIs and continuous improvement goals.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a buyer, planner, or procurement role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with MRP systems and strong working knowledge of ERP tools.
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret MRP logic and drive data-based decisions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality systems is a plus.
