Job Details

An innovative insurance company in your area is actively seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst to join their dynamic team. They are located in Bedford Park, IL and it is a full-time position. The first 90 days will be onsite, and then it becomes hybrid, Tuesday through Thursday in the office.

The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and reliability of software applications by conducting thorough testing, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to improve software quality.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience in manual testing in the insurance industry (life, health, property & casualty, or other insurance domains).
  • Strong understanding of insurance processes, policy administration, underwriting, claims, and billing systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
  • Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
.Desired Skills & Experience
  • Exposure to automation testing tools (Selenium, TestComplete) is a plus but not required.
What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities
  • Develop, document, and execute manual test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for insurance applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using a defect management tool and collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
  • Ensure insurance policy processing systems, claims management applications, underwriting systems, and customer portals function correctly.
