Overview
We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to join a dynamic operations team in Las Vegas. This role offers the opportunity to leverage technical expertise in areas such as warehouse operations, fulfillment, packaging, transportation, and facility optimization. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, driving process improvements, and leading large-scale projects across a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct time studies and operational analyses to identify improvement opportunities
- Partner with leadership to design and implement effective solutions
- Support operational teams with continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action plans
- Develop and track Lean/Continuous Improvement projects (A3 methodology)
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service or associate experience
- Lead warehouse slotting and layout optimization using data-driven tools and processes
- Standardize best practices and labor management systems across operations
- Provide start-up support for new facilities and customer operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required
- 5+ years of experience within logistics, warehousing, or fulfillment operations
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to travel within the U.S. (approximately 25% if not local)
- Strong knowledge of distribution and fulfillment processes
- Experience with slotting methodology and productivity measurement metrics
- Familiarity with warehouse and labor management systems (WMS, LMS)
- Understanding of material handling equipment, automation, and space optimization
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (layouts) and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and project management skills
