Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-level initiatives supporting global service parts operations. This individual will play a strategic role in overseeing the implementation of integrated supply chain systems with mainframe touchpoints, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring delivery excellence across procurement, order fulfillment, warehouse management (WMS), and supplier collaboration projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide end-to-end project leadership: Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of large-scale IT programs.
Own project financials: Define and manage budgets, track spend, and optimize resource allocations.
Drive stakeholder alignment: Engage senior IT and business leaders with clear and consistent status reporting, risk mitigation plans, and change management strategies.
Bridge business and technical teams: Lead requirements gathering, functional design documentation, system integration planning, and test execution.
Deliver transformation: Support Agile or hybrid SDLC delivery models while guiding the organization s shift away from traditional waterfall methodologies.
Act as a subject matter expert: Influence architecture, data integration, and workflow design in supply chain domains.
Initial Project Focus:
Supplier Collaboration initiative supporting the digital transformation of procurement processes. This includes EDI-based integration of supplier forecasting, purchase orders, and ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice) capabilities.
Required Experience & Skills:
10+ years of IT project management experience in large, complex enterprise environments
Proven experience delivering end-to-end supply chain solutions within the automotive or consumer goods sectors
Deep understanding of procurement, fulfillment, and WMS workflows
Expertise in EDI, MFT, and ETL technologies and integration practices
Familiarity with SCM applications such as Blue Yonder (preferred but not required)
Demonstrated success managing multi-functional teams and cross-platform enterprise architectures
Strong business analysis skills; able to document requirements, design workflows, and validate outcomes through testing
Highly proficient in Agile and hybrid project methodologies
Strong communication and leadership skills; able to influence at all levels of the organization
Prior experience managing vendor relationships and third-party implementation teams
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in a Big Four or equivalent consulting environment
Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier background
Stable work history within Fortune 500 or other complex enterprise settings
PMP or comparable project management certification
