Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform design and analysis of nuclear safety-related structures per ASME B&PV Section III Div. 2, AISC N690, ACI 349.
- Conduct static and dynamic analyses including reinforced concrete, structural steel, and composite structures.
- Analyze thermal stresses, hydrodynamic loads, and containment structural response.
- Develop system design deliverables, engineering reports, and licensing documentation.
- Interface with internal/external stakeholders, NRC, and international regulators.
- Lead design analyses, verifications, and ensure compliance with engineering/quality requirements.
- Support BWR structural systems, drawings, and specifications.
- Deliver engineering documentation in line with contract, business, and regulatory guidelines.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor s in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS/PhD preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in the energy industry (nuclear preferred).
- 5+ years direct design/development experience of power plants or similar facilities.
- 3+ years in leadership roles and experience with customers, regulators, and suppliers.
- Familiarity with ACI, ASCE, AWS codes/standards.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, team leadership, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
