Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
SAP PI/PO Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP Process Integration (PI) 7.3 and Process Orchestration (PO) 7.5+ including configuration, middleware technologies, and tools.
Migration Experience: Proven experience in migrating from SAP PI to SAP PO with successful completion of similar projects.
Integration Design: Proficient in designing, developing, and implementing integration scenarios utilizing PI/PO capabilities.
Mapping Techniques: In-depth understanding of various mapping techniques using SAP tools such as Graphical Mapping and XSLT.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Ability to monitor integration flows and troubleshoot issues effectively in a non-disruptive manner.
Documentation Skills: Capable of creating comprehensive documentation for processes, configurations, and system designs.
Roles & Responsibilities
Migration experience is a must, specifically with transitioning from SAP PI 7.3 to SAP PI/PO 7.5 or higher.
In-depth understanding of SAP Process Integration (PI) and Process Orchestration (PO) architecture and functionalities.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP PI/PO, including participation in at least 2 full-cycle integration projects from initiation to closure.
Proficient in designing, configuring, and implementing integration scenarios using SAP PI/PO.
Strong experience with integration patterns and best practices, including A2A (Application to Application) and B2B (Business to Business) integrations.
Knowledge of mapping techniques, including graphical mapping, XSLT, and Java mapping within SAP PI/PO.
Experience in configuring and managing adapters such as IDoc, JDBC, SOAP, REST, and File adapters for seamless integration.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications relevant to integration processes and user interface design principles.
Ability to conduct thorough system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate that integration processes meet business requirements.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to effectively address integration issues and optimize performance.
Understanding of master data management and data flow processes related to integration within SAP ecosystems.
Experience with performance monitoring and optimization of integration flows and relevant key performance indicators (KPIs).
Knowledge of integration points between SAP PI/PO and other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, WM) and external systems.
Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies and collaborative working environments.
Ability to act as a liaison among technical teams and business stakeholders to elicit, ana lyze, document, and validate requirements for integration solutions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective communication with stakeholders and facilitation of workshops for requirement gathering.
Experience with SAP PI/PO integration with various systems, enhancing overall business process efficiency.
Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to integration and data flow management.
Ability to lead onsite and offshore teams, ensuring effective collaboration and successful project execution.
