Job Title: Functional Consultant - Miro Specialist
Location: US-based or UK/Canada-based consultants available to work in US EST hours)
Duration: 3 Months (with potential extension)
Experience Required: 3-4 years minimum in Miro board design and facilitation support

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Miro to support a series of executive and business workshops. This role will act as a virtual Miro assistant, responsible for designing, enabling, and supporting Miro boards in real time during client meetings and workshops.

Key Responsibilities

Miro Board Design & Enablement

  • Design intuitive, high-quality Miro boards tailored for executive-level and cross-functional workshops.
  • Create real-time Miro boards during live client discussions and meetings.
  • Visualize decision flows, dependencies, and inputs across People, Process, Technology, Data, and Decisions.
  • Incorporate facilitation best practices such as clustering, voting, timeboxing, and parking lot features.

Workshop Support

  • Support live use of Miro boards during Discovery and Target State workshops.
  • Troubleshoot participant issues (access, navigation, posting).
  • Enhance boards in real time based on workshop dynamics.
  • Provide expert-on-demand support during sessions to ensure smooth facilitation.

Participant Enablement

  • Develop and deliver enablement content including "Miro 101 guides and orientation materials.
  • Equip internal teams and participants to become confident Miro users ahead of key sessions.

Advanced Visualization & Integration

  • Support advanced visualization of survey and maturity assessment results using tools like Matrix, Bull Eye, and Decision Tree.
  • Explore and implement enhancements such as Microsoft Teams integration and Miro plug-ins (e.g., heatmaps, spider charts, dashboards).

Optional PMO/TMO Support

  • Assist in Teamhood-based work planning and tracking.
  • Support action item and issue management as part of broader transformation planning.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience (3-4 years) in Miro board design and workshop facilitation.
  • Strong understanding of decision intelligence frameworks.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, executive-facing environments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams).
  • Experience with visualization tools like Matrix, Bull Eye, and Decision Tree.
  • Excellent communication and real-time collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in supporting Design Thinking and Transformation Roadmap workshops.
  • Familiarity with PMO/TMO setup and tools like Teamhood.
  • Prior experience working with executive leadership teams.
