Job Details

Piper Companies is seeking an experienced Business Analysts to join a global insurance company for a long term contract opportunity. The Business Analyst will leverage their expertise to enhance the efficiency of underwriting platforms.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
  • Act as liaison between IT department, system integrators, and business teams.
  • Develop, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Design customer-focused documentation for software solutions (e.g., Wireframes, Use Cases, business rules).
  • Participate in system design and configuration activities.

Qualifications of the Business Analyst:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in Commercial Property/Casualty insurance.
  • Extensive experience with software applications, including Microsoft Office & Asana.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work autonomously.
  • Good interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with at least one policy administration or CRM system is a must.
  • Experience using Salesforce and Instec is a plus.
  • Knowledge of XML and JSON is a plus.


Compensation for the Business Analyst:

Hourly Rate: $45.0-$55.0 per hour
