Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite per week)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Appian Developer to join our growing team in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our Digital Process Automation team, you will design, develop, and implement business applications using the Appian BPM platform. This is a hybrid role requiring a balance of remote work and onsite collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain business process management (BPM) applications using Appian 21.x/22.x or higher.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and Appian solutions.
• Develop records, interfaces, SAIL forms, process models, and integrations.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Work closely with QA and DevOps teams for testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience developing with Appian BPM.
• Proficiency in Appian low-code development tools including SAIL, Process Modeler, and Records.
• Experience integrating Appian with external systems using Web APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and writing SQL queries.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification preferred.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with Appian RPA or Appian AI features.
• Prior experience in financial services or insurance domains
