App Sec Architect / CISSP

This Philadelphia non-profit based in the medical field has quite the cutting-edge security program, which isn't normally seen in the nonprofit space. They are hiring a Security Architect to join their established and specialized team. This person will be the highest point of escalation on the technical security side, and will be responsible for app sec, blue team, GRC, tool integration, and more. If you are looking for a highly technical role where you can dive head first into application security, look no further! This is a full-time, mostly remote role - this person will need to come into the office only once per quarter. Candidates must reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, or Maryland.

Ideal candidates will have a software development background in addition to professional cyber security experience. Skills in securing CI/CD pipelines, OWSAP, SAST/DAST, and general knowledge of SDLC are strongly preferred. Required Skills & Experience

• At least 7 years of professional experience in cyber security, preferably application security
  • OWASP
  • SAST/DAST
• Software development background, or ability to code (any language)
• CISSP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience as a professional software developer
• Experience in red and blue team activities
• Leadership experience
