Full Stack Software Engineer

Candidates must have solid JavaScript/TypeScript experience with AWS

(Must have a CS Degree from a Top 50 School in US or Top 10 Canadian School)

Salary: depending on experience + Bonus

Must be located in the USA (Fully Remote)

Seniority

• 5 - 25 years of experience as a software engineer. Although, we are open to all skill levels with compensation adjusted accordingly and a preference for more senior folks.
• We are looking for those with a 'builder' mindset and can demonstrate their ability to write code and contribute.

Work experience

• Experience at high- growth startups where they truly owned projects.
• Big Tech is ok if combined with this startup environment experience.
• We are looking for those with a 'builder' self- starter mindset and can demonstrate their ability to write code and contribute
• Experience as a former founder or founding engineer at a startup is a strong plus

Required skills

• Full stack engineering with a slight emphasis on backend and able to develop full- stack web app features from design through deployment
• Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure.
• Familiarity with modern AI product development lifecycles (evals, experiment design, dataset curation, etc).
• Experience scaling high- throughput distributed systems in the cloud. Bonus points if you're experienced with infrastructure- as- code solutions like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Have done real work/projects in previous roles and owned projects from start to finish.

Miscellaneous

• Ability to work remotely within the U. S. time zones.
• Active GitHub is a strong plus
