Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Data Center Project Manager to lead mission-critical construction projects across Texas. As part of a leading general contracting firm with a strong national presence, you will manage the full lifecycle of large-scale, technically complex data center builds for top-tier clients in the hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of data center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Lead internal project teams and coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and owner representatives to ensure project milestones are met
  • Manage budget, schedule, safety, and quality control on all assigned projects
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and customer requirements
  • Conduct regular progress meetings with stakeholders and maintain detailed documentation
  • Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams during proposal and buyout phases
  • Drive risk management and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications and project reporting
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering professional development and high performance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial construction with at least 3 years in mission-critical/data center environments
  • Proven track record delivering projects valued between $25M and $500M
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, critical infrastructure, and commissioning processes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, P6, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • PMP certification is a plus
