Tier 3 Help Desk Support Specialist| $120K Base Salary | Remote



Company Overview: Our client is seeking a Tier 3 Help Desk Support Specialist responsible for overseeing software design, customization, maintenance, and support across various office locations. This role involves managing Windows server environments, including Citrix configurations and updates. Strong technical skills, a proactive approach to new technologies, and a dedication to delivering excellent service to end users are essential.



Responsibilities and Qualifications:



  • Provide primary technical ownership of software applications.

  • Understand concepts of layered infrastructure security.

  • Perform Citrix XenApp administration.

  • Assist with administration of Microsoft Teams, OneLogin, Group Policy, Resilio, and Cylance.

  • Troubleshoot (L3) Citrix issues post migration.

  • Coordinate, document, and manage software upgrades.

  • Manage server backups, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity plans.

  • Document application customizations.

  • Troubleshoot application errors and coordinate vendor support.

  • Keep current environment updated and functioning efficiently.

  • Knowledge of Citrix Studio, Citrix Director, MCS, PVS, App Layering, FAS, Cloud Connectors, FSLogix.

  • Basic project management skills.

  • Ability to install, maintain, and upgrade third-party custom software solutions.

  • Understand hardware requirements, write technical specifications and documentation.

  • Experience with root-cause analysis, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.

  • Ability to multitask and bring assigned tasks to completion.

  • Good scripting knowledge using PowerShell.

  • Prior experience in legal or financial services preferred.

  • On-call once a week roughly every 6 weeks

  • Need to be located in MA, CT, NJ, or FL



Compensation/Benefits:



  • $120,000 base salary
