Job Description:
The position is full-time remote, but it is desired for the candidate to be local to either Vienna, Virginia, or Pensacola, Florida
Required Qualifications and Skills:
15 Years of IT Project Management experience is required
Background experience in application development
Significant experience managing large-scale application integrations across an enterprise
Ability to work with stakeholders in application development, business teams, and executive leadership
Strong communicator at various levels of management required
Experience with Azure DevOps, Excel, Power BI, or equivalent tools
Self-starter, ability to work independently and across project teams and organizations
An active PMP Certification
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
Application integration experience with IAM is a large plus
Prior experience working in the Financial Industry
Certified SAFe 5 Scrum Master (SSM) or Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Project Manager (POPM)
Day-to-Day Role:
Track progress and schedules for a workstream across dozens of applications and application dependencies simultaneously, and update tracking daily
Proactively determine next steps and best path forward based on current status and delivery dates
Report on project activities through verbal and written communication.
Demonstrate a positive "can-do" attitude and create energy within the project team
Identify, communicate, and support the resolution of technical, tactical, and operational project issues and risks
Facilitate project team and stakeholder meetings for the resolution of program-related issues
Build and maintain relationships with team members, management, key stakeholders, and/or external contacts (vendors, etc.)
A Project Manager ensures that the work scope is completed in a quality manner, within budget, and on time by providing leadership in planning, organizing, and controlling the work effort
