Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on Oracle HCM Technical Developer to join our team in Jersey City, NJ on a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite). The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of technical development skills and functional knowledge in Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Management. This role demands deep experience with SQL, PLSQL, HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BIP, Fast Formulas, and HCM Security & Roles customization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support custom objects and integrations across Oracle HCM modules (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Compensation).
- Develop and maintain SQL, PLSQL, HCM Extracts, HDL templates, BIP reports, and OTBI dashboards.
- Create and optimize Fast Formulas for Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation logic.
- Customize and manage HCM Security roles, role provisioning, and data security policies.
- Develop and troubleshoot web service integrations with third-party payroll, benefits, and time entry systems.
- Collaborate with functional and business teams to support payroll processes and validate integration/data flow.
- Act as a liaison between technical and functional stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across integrations and reports.
- Participate in regular upgrades, testing, and system enhancements.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience as a technical developer in Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Strong expertise in SQL, PLSQL, HDL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BIP, and Fast Formulas.
- Solid hands-on experience with HCM Security and Role Management.
- Functional understanding of Payroll processes, Benefits administration, and Time/Attendance data integrations.
- Experience integrating with third-party systems via web services (SOAP/REST).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Jersey City, NJ 3 days a week.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience working with ADP, Kronos, or other third-party payroll/time systems.
- Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Familiarity with Oracle Redwood UI enhancements.
