Senior .NET Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior level .Net developer needed for Benefit Edit Tool (BET) application fortification for a 1 year contract role with our healthcare client. Remote.

Compensation: $65 -70 per hour, depending on skill and experience level.

Interaction level with Management/Team Members:

• Consult with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Project Managers to establish specifications and estimations on complex initiatives and requests
• Work with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Business Users to develop and implement acceptance test plan to ensure product meets customer requirements and expectations

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for investigating, identifying, and implementing application system changes for Benefit Edit Tool (BET) application.
• This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed application systems to process data.
• This position is also responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs and collaborating with other team members by providing technical advice.

Qualifications/years of experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Extensive work experience with agile development methodology including walkthroughs, story breakdowns, backlog grooming, demos and releases. Also use of Bitbucket, JIRA.

Technology Requirements:

• 8+ years' experience with web development tools: ASP .NET, C#, VB.NET, Java Script, .NET Framework, CSS, HTML, Ajax, API Integrations, Database Knowledge (SQL Server, ODBC/OleDB), Bitbucket
• Java Development experience would be a plus

Additional Requirements:

• Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.)
• Previous experience in PBM / health care industry
• Understanding of security implications of domain
• Experience with DevExpress and any other 3rd Party Controls.
• Familiarity with AppDynamics monitoring software
