Senior Business Analyst

Role: Senior Business Analyst

Duration: 1-3 Years

Location: Austin, TX (Prefer Locals)

Must have: TEA, Education and TX Gov experience

Project Summary:

This role will primarily be working on help desk ticket tracking through JIRA and converting PDF forms to JIRA forms

While JIRA and Modern Requirements are preferred requirements at 3 years, candidates should have more extensive experience with both as this will make up most of the day-to-day tasks

Candidates should be experience with Workflow management and configuration

Required Skills:

• 8 Years of Required Eliciting requirements from interviews with customers and creating well-written system requirements documents
• 8 Years of Required Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 8 Years of Required Business process re-engineering and software process flow improvement
• 8 Years of Required Development of user stories and use cases that conform to business analysis best practices
• 8 Years of Required Designing mockups and/or wireframes that conform to UX best practices
• 5 Years of Required Demonstrated strong communication and facilitation skills
• 5 Years of Required Demonstrated strong writing and organization skills

Preferred Skills:

• 3 Years of Preferred Documented work experience with the requirements management software "Modern Requirements"
• 3 Years of Preferred Documented work experience with the issue tracking software "Atlassian Jira"
• 2 Years of Preferred Documented experience working for or closely with TEA or another state or local education agency
