The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure that targets are met and quality standards are upheld.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Coach and mentor production staff, providing guidance to improve their skills and performance.
- Oversee the scheduling of production tasks, ensuring optimal use of resources and personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Manage disciplinary procedures in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Implement Kaizen principles to identify and execute process improvements within the production area.
- Oversee the manufacturing of sheet metal and extruded aluminum components, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Support HVAC production needs and work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Utilize statistical analysis to monitor production metrics and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience as a production supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in sheet metal and extruded aluminum.
- Experience with performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures.
- Familiarity with Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
- Ability to analyze data and utilize statistical analysis for decision-making.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
