Title: Acoustic Engineer II
Duration: 7+ Months (Possible extension after that)
Location: Cupertino, CA (3 Days onsite)
Pay Range: $40/Hr to $43/Hr.
Description
You will develop complex graphical user interfaces for our team for acoustic data analysis and visualization. This includes working with vendors on data gathering, formatting and parsing data and developing user-friendly tools.
Education & Experience
Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in engineering or an equivalent field (physics, electrical, mechanical engineering, software engineering, computer science, etc.), but if you ve followed a different path to expertise in software engineering that s fine

Key Qualifications
- Strong MATLAB development background specifically in complex UI Development (mandate)
- Experience with data formatting and parsing (mandate)
- Experience understanding engineering workflows
- UX design experience is a plus
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Matlab Development
- Focus is on workflow development more than software development
- Design-minded: Critical of the status quo. Doesn t settle for clunkiness.
- Strives for seamless user experience, balancing flexibility and modularity with streamlined user flows
- Experience developing applications involving database construction and navigation, data visualization, and complex user flows
- Experience with statistics
- Experience working with vendors
