Job Description:

IT Support Engineer - 100% onsite, based out of Hillsboro, Oregon.

We are seeking an experienced PC Support Engineer to locally support the deployment and configuration of Ivanti Help Desk Ticketing System, Microsoft Autopilot endpoint imaging, and software package management among other IT PC support tools in our manufacturing site located in Portland, Oregon. The successful candidate will work closely with the IT project team to ensure smooth deployment, troubleshooting, and end-user support, contributing to an efficient and productive environment across the organization. This is an on-site position not remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ivanti Help Desk Ticketing System Deployment and integration :
    • Assist in the deployment and integration of Ivanti Help Desk Ticketing System.
    • Ensure seamless ticketing workflow setup, including user access, priority levels, escalation procedures, and SLAs.
    • Train and support IT staff on the new system to ensure proper usage and troubleshooting.
  • Microsoft Autopilot Endpoint Imaging:
    • Work with the IT team to deploy and configure Windows Autopilot for endpoint provisioning and imaging across the manufacturing site.
    • Ensure that endpoints are set up with the correct configuration profiles, applications, and security settings.
    • Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of any issues related to Autopilot deployments and imaging.
  • Software Package Management: LANDesk
    • Assist in managing the software deployment lifecycle (packaging, distribution, updates) for both system software and application software across Portland.
    • Collaborate with IT team members, and system administrators to ensure successful deployment of software packages using LANDesk Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune.
    • Test, troubleshoot, and resolve software deployment issues to ensure smooth delivery of critical software updates.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
    • Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and system issues related to the Help Desk Ticketing System, Autopilot, and software management.
    • Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Document and report recurring issues and suggest preventive measures.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on deployment schedules and IT needs.
    • Provide regular updates to the IT manager on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
    • Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of software packages, imaging configurations, and system tickets.


    Required Qualifications:
    • Proven experience (2+ years) as a PC Support Engineer, IT Technician, or similar technical support role.
    • Hands-on experience with Ivanti Help Desk Ticketing System ( or similar ) and troubleshooting.
    • Strong experience with Microsoft Autopilot, endpoint imaging, and device provisioning.
    • Proficiency in software deployment and management using tools like LANDesk Endpoint Manager, Intune, or other related tools.
    • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Microsoft Certified: Windows 10 or 11 (or similar certification).
    • Experience with scripting languages for automation (PowerShell, batch scripting, etc.).
    • Familiarity with ITIL processes or frameworks for IT service management.
