Position: Cloud Engineer Senior Location: McLean, Virginia Duration:6 Months
Must Haves: Cloud EPM developer/analyst to support configuration of Hyperion calc scripts, business rules, and data management/exchange rules to support changes required for the client's ERP solution. MUST HAVE recent PYTHON experience. (Oracle and Workday experience.)
Nice to have: Understanding of managing and extracting data within Workday. Understanding of Workday's integration within other enterprise systems
Day to Day: Candidate will handle data integration from Workday using Python, collaborate closely with the business to ensure seamless cloud EPM operations, and adapt to technical changes

Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled developer to join our team at Client, focusing on the transition from PeopleSoft to Workday. The ideal candidate will integrate data using Python, ensure seamless cloud EPM operations, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders. This role requires on-site work in Tysons and a strong technical background in Workday, Oracle EPM, and API integration. Experience with cloud platforms and advanced data handling is a plus.
Responsibilities:
The candidate's key responsibilities include integrating data from Workday using Python and ensuring its relevance for cloud EPM applications. They will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand and accommodate changes, maintaining seamless operations. Additionally, they will adapt to technical changes required for data cubes and account reconciliation, while working on-site in Tysons to facilitate effective teamwork and project execution.
Qualifications:
Apply understanding of data warehouse/database concepts, as well as experience in relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing
Good understanding and demonstrable experience with Automation processes using ETL tools and Python scripts (experience with EPM Automate is a plus)
Solid understanding of API Calls and Rest API processes
Solid experience in configuring application code for Oracle EPM solutions such as Calc Scripts, Business Rules, and Data Management/Data Exchange Rules, specifically in the EPBCS space, o about 215 business rules/calc scripts and 66 input forms/business rules that need to be converted from current G&A environment to new.
Configure and customize the ARCS application to meet clients' specific reconciliation requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards
Analyze existing reconciliation processes and identify opportunities to streamline and automate them using ARCS functionalities
The client is moving from PeopleSoft to Workday. Ensuring data from Workday is relevant for cloud EPM applications.
Technical Knowledge: Expertise in cloud EPM tools, especially for data cubes and ARCS.
Data Handling: Experience in pulling data using APIs, particularly with Python.
Experience Level: Role requires recent development experience, not extensive managerial experience.
Team Structure: The Team consists of 4 members supporting cloud EPM, collaborating with different business areas.
