RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Program Lead to oversee and drive IT programs leveraging Agile and Scrum methodologies. This role is critical in managing multiple projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Agile practices, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex IT initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Execution:
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee IT programs to ensure successful delivery on time, within scope, and budget
* Establish and manage program goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with organizational priorities
* Track and monitor program progress, resolving any issues that arise
Agile and Scrum Leadership:
* Implement and promote Agile and Scrum methodologies across program teams, delivering immediate value to a minimum viable product and evolve over time
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
* Ensure teams adhere to Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
* Work closely with business units, product owners, and technical teams to define program objectives and requirements
* Act as a liaison between stakeholders and Agile teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
* Provide regular program updates and insights to senior leadership
Risk and Issue Management:
* Identify, assess, and manage risks to program success, developing mitigation strategies as needed
* Resolve conflicts and address challenges that could impact program outcomes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
* Agile certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
* Project management certifications such as PMP or PgMP (preferred)
* 5+ years of experience in program management
* Demonstrated expertise in managing Agile and Scrum projects in a complex environment
* Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps
* Experience in IT infrastructure, software development, or digital transformation projects
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
* Comfortable in highly dynamic and frequently ambiguous environments
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex and competing priorities
* Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
