Role: Observability & Monitoring Engineer
Location: Buffalo, NY (Onsite)
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall, 10+ Years of experience required.
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards for applications and infrastructure.
- Configure alerts, metrics, and thresholds to proactively detect issues.
- Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to identify anomalies and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with DevOps, development, and security teams to improve system reliability.
- Automate monitoring and reporting workflows for operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Splunk (dashboarding, alerting, log analysis).
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack.
- Strong understanding of cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Banking or financial services experience.
- Scripting for automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- CI/CD and DevOps exposure.
- Knowledge of security/compliance monitoring standards.
