Job Details

Job Description: Technical/Functional Skills:
Good understanding of design of Boards and flexes design
Knowledge on reading assembly drawings, material list / Bill of materials (BOMs) and wiring diagrams
Experience in creating the BOM (in database), tracking design changes and in maintaining the accuracy of BOM including all configurations
Understand the DFM updates, provide feedback to vendors and ensure the final design release with latest changes for fabrication
Coordination with cross functional teams, provide material and build plan to vendors and factory; generate build schedule; actively participate in build meetings; continuous follow-up for on time build start and completion
Logistic support for shipments to US and overseas factories

Experience Required:
Experience working in mechanical and electrical component design through complete product life cycle from concept to manufacturing.
Should have demonstrated skills to predict potential problems that might affect the overall design cadence and build schedule and implement contingencies to protect build schedule.
Clear written and verbal communication
Regular update to Senior leadership on program health.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand drawings, assembly BOMs and wiring diagrams
Hardware (ME and EE) design with multiple electromechanical components, and rack-based equipment
Material and shipment handling
Updating hardware teams on the status
Should work with minimal/no supervision
Helping team for basic troubleshooting, implementing corrective actions and maintain program discipline.
