Position: AEM Developer

Location: Remote from Ecuador

Length: 12+ month contract w/ potential to extend

Interviews Times: Two-Round interview with the client

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of AEM Development Experience
  • 2+ years of AEM Cloud Experience
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Java
  • Strong Fluency in English

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled AEM Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Adobe Experience Manager components and templates. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Java, Sling, JCR, and Maven, along with proficiency in designing reusable AEM components and workflows. This role involves integrating AEM with RESTful services, optimizing performance, and ensuring best practices in security and content management. Experience with AEM Cloud, dispatcher configuration, and DAM management is preferred. Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit or AEM Mocks is required. The role demands problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable AEM components and templates.
  • Integrate AEM with RESTful services.
  • Optimize performance and ensure best practices in security and content management.
  • Assist with the migration to AEM Cloud.
  • Configure AEM dispatcher and manage Digital Asset Management (DAM).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Conduct automated testing using frameworks such as JUnit or AEM Mocks.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM components and workflows.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree or international equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with Java, Sling, JCR, and Maven.
  • Proficiency in designing reusable AEM components and workflows.
  • Experience with AEM Cloud and dispatcher configuration.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular).
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks such as JUnit or AEM Mocks.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
