Senior Mechatronics Technician

Position Overview:


Advantage Technical is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Mechatronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be key in driving customer satisfaction through service excellence, utilizing their technical expertise to enhance our service offerings.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble electromechanical components/assemblies to ensure optimal functionality before returning them to customers.


• Collaborate in root-cause analysis and corrective actions on functional discrepancies, enhancing overall service quality.


• Maintain and configure hardware and software post-installation to ensure seamless operation for our customers.


• Work hands-on with various assembly and test equipment, focusing on electromechanical assembly and functional testing.


• Educate and train customers on properly using our equipment, fostering positive relationships and satisfaction.


• Document field installations and repairs, maintaining accurate records for continuous improvement.


• Utilize strong analytical skills to review customer field data, diagnose issues, and communicate findings to enhance service processes and product design.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with servo drives, digital encoders, and electric motors.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, test results, and system performance.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers.


• Ability to handle tools for soldering, wiring, crimping, and operating diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.


• Experience with Python programming and issue-tracking tools like Jira and Confluence is a plus.


• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
