Job Summary Oracle HCM Functional Consultant
Client: American Express (AMEX)
Location: Virtual / Phoenix / Atlanta
Role Overview
AMEX is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional / Techno-Functional Consultant to support the ongoing Oracle Modernization Project within their Colleague Experience Technology team. The consultant will be responsible for both technical configurations and functional support across key ctionalOracle Fusion HCM modules, particularly:
- Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC)
- Talent Management
- Learning Cloud (OLC)
- Core HR
The role demands a hands-on contributor who can configure, troubleshoot, and enhance HCM modules while working closely with business and technical stakeholders in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment.
Required Skills & Experience
Area | Required Experience |
Fusion Modules | Strong configuration and support experience in ORC, Talent, Learn, and Core HR |
Techno-Functional Capabilities | Customizations using DFF/EFF, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Approval Workflows |
Integrations | Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and HCM Data Loader (HDL) |
Reporting & Analysis | Expertise in Fast Formulas, BI, and OTBI reports |
Quarterly Updates | Conduct impact analysis and regression testing for HCM quarterly patches |
User Experience | Familiarity with Oracle Redwood UX, Visual Builder Studio (VBS), and Oracle Journeys |
Workshops | Leading CRP (Conference Room Pilot) sessions and conducting fit-gap analysis |
Oracle SR Handling | Managing Oracle Service Requests (SRs) for issue resolution and escalation |
Nice to Have
- HCM security provisioning and troubleshooting experience
- Deep understanding of Hire-to-Retire business processes
- Exposure to Skill Nexus, Generative AI (GenAI), and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience with ADP Connector
- Strong documentation and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
