Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer ServiceNow Location: Santa Clara, CA / San Diego, CA. Duration: 12 Months Contract

Your role and contribution towards;
Senior platform Systems Engineer ServiceNow cloud infrastructure domain primary responsibility will be to develop scoped applications and supporting code that can integrate between cloud domain infrastructure and other enterprise business systems. This role will also be responsible for the enable of new modules, support enhancements, and the development of integrations that will leverage new and existing platform APIs. This role will involve automating systems level processes, so knowledge of Linux operating systems, storage, and networking will play a role in the specific applications being developed on this team.

Job Description:
Develop scoped applications that will utilize all of the cloud infrastructure domain platform functionality, using server-side JavaScript, ServiceNow Flows, and related technologies.
Develop and support the integration of 3rd party systems with ServiceNow; The Management, Instrumentation, and Discovery (MID) server, web services (REST), and Secure Socket Shell (SSH), actions. (Remote Administration).
Create and maintain API and data integrations between ServiceNow and other services
Be a contributor on how ServiceNow can be used to integrate to new and existing technologies.
Write supporting code, as needed, in other languages such as Python.
Write technical documentation for peers, management, and support personnel

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
At least Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience with the development, configuration, implementation and support of production and non-production ServiceNow instances is required
Strong knowledge of JavaScript is required
A rich knowledge of both ITIL and ITSM disciplines is required
ServiceNow Application Developer and System Administrator Certifications are nice to have.
Demonstrated proficiency with the use and management of APIs
Knowledge of infrastructure services spanning Linux servers, storage, network, security and cloud is desired.
Development experience in Python is nice to have
Some knowledge of Azure, AWS, or both is a nice-to-have.
