As a Driveline Technician, you will be responsible for rebuilding drivelines and grinding flywheels in a bench shop environment.

Key Driveline Technician Responsibilities Include:
\n- \n
- Assemble and disassemble drivelines \n
- Wash parts, inspect parts, and discard all damaged parts \n
- Take micrometer measurement of flywheels; set grinder and regrind flywheel to specifications \n
- Prepare list of required replacement parts on work order \n
- Pull new parts from inventory and complete the appropriate paperwork \n
- Paint and label parts \n
- Reassemble, time and balance driveline, if required \n
- Tag units as required \n
- Place units in inventory or for customer pick up as required \n
- Submit work order for invoicing \n
- Clean work area and maintain equipment; adhering to all environmental, health and safety standards \n
Successful Driveline Technician Candidates Will Have:
\n- \n
- Minimum of one year of experience as a mechanic, machinist, welder, assembler, or technician \n
- Experience in heavy-duty diesel truck mechanics / repair is a plus \n
- Strong Mechanical Aptitude with an understanding of mechanical systems, particularly diesel engines and drivelines \n
- Ability to take and apply precise measurements effectively \n
- Knowledge of safety protocols and a focus on maintaining a safe working environment \n
- Proven history of effective teamwork and collaboration \n
- High level of accuracy and efficiency in following detailed specifications and instructions \n
- Basic set of hand tools required (or willingness to invest in tools as responsibilities grow) \n
- Ability to lift up to 50+lbs \n
- Ability to operate power industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, etc.) \n
