Description:The Air Mobility and Maritime Mission (AMMM) Mission Systems, Design & Integration Engineering team, as well as the Operations team, will be led and managed by this position under the Airborne Software Directorate.

The Applicant will be accountable for the team's performance in key areas, including technical and schedule performance, staffing, performance management, and financial performance, using metrics to measure progress toward these objectives.
The Applicant's key responsibilities will include overseeing requirements and design development, supporting system integration and flight tests, and managing products throughout their life cycle. The Applicant will also lead the D&I team and manage the Operations team, overseeing areas such as digital transformation, supplier management, and configuration management.

To be successful in this role, the Applicant will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface effectively with all levels of LOB, Program Management, the customer, and other cross-functional teams.
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledge of mobility aircraft design and operations, as well as experience leading a team, is required.
- Proven experience as a manager or technical lead for a project or program, with demonstrated ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
- Experience working with design and development of Avionics mission systems and subsystems using Agile methodology
- Experience with EVMS and CAM duties
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field
- Experience with DOORS
Desired Skills:
- Experience in Project Management
- Experience in conflict resolution and building collaborative relationships
- Experience with DevSecOps and Digital Transformation
- Software supplier management experience
- Experience with RTCA/DO-178B/C software development
- Excellent presentation skills and must be able to convey focused messages to internal senior leadership and external customers
- Experience developing detailed plans in support of technical assignments
- Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with proposal management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
