Job Description:
We are seeking a Certified Appian Lead with strong technical leadership experience to join our client's digital transformation team. This role involves leading the design, development, and delivery of scalable low-code business applications using the Appian platform, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet enterprise business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, architecture, and development of Appian-based business applications using industry best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and developers to understand and translate functional requirements into robust Appian solutions.
- Guide a team of Appian developers through the full SDLC requirements gathering, development, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure adherence to coding and security standards, and promote reusable design patterns.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve defects in Appian workflows and integrations.
- Coordinate with DevOps, QA, and integration teams to ensure smooth application delivery and deployment.
- Stay up to date with the latest Appian platform features and contribute to process improvements and technical standards within the team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years of total IT experience, with 6 to 10 years of Appian development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Appian BPM, SAIL, process modeling, rules, records, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Appian integration using REST, SOAP, and external systems.
- Proficient in creating and customizing Appian plug-ins, Smart Services, and expression rules.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and managing Appian best practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Appian version upgrades, and deployment methodologies.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-domain environments (e.g., healthcare, insurance, logistics, manufacturing, etc.).
- Appian Level 1 or Level 2 Certification (mandatory or strong preference).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
