Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Specialist to join our team. This role involves modifying complex software/application programs or creating new ones to meet the needs of users and management.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Puppet Enterprise (PE) product owner, providing backup when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Puppet Enterprise servers and software for internal team use cases.
- Collaborate with the Puppet Enterprise team, offering guidance and expertise in Puppet development.
- Develop, review, and deploy code for Puppet Enterprise to production.
- Perform shell scripting in Bash and Powershell.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Windows and RedHat Linux operating systems.
- Codify changes to Windows and Linux Operating systems.
- Show willingness to learn and incorporate new technologies and patterns.
- Exhibit strong communication skills.
- Maintain documentation at both the engineer level and for user-facing purposes.
- Display a strong command of SDLC patterns.
- Manage code with git.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to maintain and produce code in Python.
- Experience managing pipelines with Jenkins.
- Familiarity or expertise with Ruby, Ansible, PowerApps, containerization, ADO Pipelines, Web patterns with HTML/CSS/Javascript, Flask, and/or Restful services.
