Summary

* Our fast-growing creative and technical team is looking for a talented CG Generalist to support creation of Immersive Videos.

* This position is for someone who gets excited about taking on projects that will require them to utilize technical, artistic, and problem solving skills across many different software packages in order to get the job done.

* The ideal candidate comes from a strong background in Commercial, TV, or Film and has had experience working on stereoscopic projects. They must be able to work well autonomously or collaborate with a team, depending on the project.

* They need to work efficiently under time constraints and be self-motivated when there is flexibility on what project is next.

* The ideal candidate excels at pivoting between roles as a project progresses and has a willingness to take on any artistic tasks, big or small, in order to support the team and the project. They would need to maintain an organized work environment, following established procedures and helping document new ones as they evolve.

Description

* The CG Generalist will be supporting a wide range of projects.

* The tasks will span from technical efforts requiring precision and methodical problem solving that supports research and development to creating stunning artistic visuals from scratch.

* Some projects are guided by a small internal group and some require taking direction from creative partners.

* Will need to learn and work with tools that are in development and provide constructive feedback when asked.

* Proven ability to take a project from start to finish meaning: Concept, modeling, layout, material surfacing, animating, lighting, rendering, and compositing with an estimate of time it would take to complete.

* Understands and relies on the fundamentals of animation and color theory in order to build visually and emotionally engaging immersive experiences.

Key Qualifications

* 7+ years of experience.

* Comprehensive understanding of the diverse technical aspects of CG

* Working knowledge of the following software packages: C4D, Maya, Blender, Nuke, Realtime game engines, After

* Effects, Redshift, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, Photoshop, Illustrator

* Has experience working in 3D, specifically projects that were designed for some form of stereoscopic exhibition

* Proven ability to balance quality of work within scheduled timelines

* Maintains composure and systematically problem-solves through technical challenges

Additional Requirements

* Understanding of the importance of organized projects, consistent file naming, and directory structure

* A team player that enjoys collaboration and sharing knowledge

* Familiar with Deadline render management software
