Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Management/Licensing Analyst to join their dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in software asset management, procurement, and contract negotiation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading high-value negotiations with software and hardware vendors, optimizing software licenses, and spearheading projects to enhance cost efficiency. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility and convenience in your work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex negotiations with software vendors, service providers, and hardware suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Structure Statements of Work (SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and licensing agreements to align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Service Contracts teams to assess contract needs, risks, and ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Manage software asset management best practices to support software compliance efforts, including proper licensing structures and renewals.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external software audits, ensuring transparency and accurate reporting.
  • Optimize vendor contracts by aligning software and hardware purchases with business needs and usage patterns.
  • Drive the contract execution process, coordinating with various business units to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Develop strategies for cost savings and contract optimization while maintaining high service quality.

Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in software licensing, IT procurement processes, and asset management.
  • Experience negotiating large-scale and small-scale software, hardware, and service agreements with major vendors.
  • Strong understanding of internal and external audits, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple negotiations simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in industries such as Oil & Gas or related fields is preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and IT procurement best practices in large enterprises.
  • Familiarity with contract and asset management tools such as ServiceNow, Icertis, and Ariba.
  • In-depth knowledge related to acquisitions and divestitures concerning software contract consolidation or separation.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
