Position Project Manager
Location Baltimore, MD

Job Description:
Serve as representative for the assigned task orders with responsibilities for all phases of the project;
Ensure all required tasks are performed on time and within budget;
Engage specifically in planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and coordination of subcontractors and internal technical and support staff;
Manage stakeholder relationships;
Develop project scopes, prepare reports, develop, and maintain schedules and budgets, and ensure quality reviews are complete;
Identify scheduling, cost variances, and make recommendations for corrective action for negative variances; and
Resolve issues with contractors in a timely manner and ensure that all aspects of the task order remain on schedule and within budget.
Background and Experience Required
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field;
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in transit and transportation projects;
A minimum of three (3) years working on a multiple task order contract;
Successful completion of Occupational Safety and Health Administration ( OSHA) 10-Hour Construction Course;
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of project management, to coordinate, review and provide expert technical management for the assigned task orders;
Knowledge of project controls, including critical path method scheduling and budgetary control systems;
Ability to independently organize and carry out assignments with minimum direction as well as ability to function effectively as a leader of highly professional personnel: and
Ability to communicate effectively.
