Client Account Operations Officer (W2 only)

We're looking for an experienced and highly skilled Client Account Operations Officer for a 6-month consulting engagement. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days on-site in New York City and 2 days remote, at the manager's discretion.

We are seeking an "exact match" candidate with extensive experience in global funds transfer and electronic payment processing within a large global financial institution.

Contract Duration: 6 Months Compensation: Up to $60/hour for an exact match candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Process US Dollar Payments and Receipts through FED (Federal Reserve Wire Network) and CHIPS (Clearing House Interbank Payments System).
• Handle USD and Foreign Currency SWIFT Payments.
• Execute Book Transfers.
• Approve and release payments in Global Payment Systems and SWIFT.
• Process FED service messages.
• Review all potential OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) violations using industry-standard sanctions screening software.
• Confirm Third-Party Transfers.
• Assist with investigations concerning accounts and claims.
• Manage End-of-Day (EOD) CHIPS and FED closings.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working at or having worked at large global financial institutions is essential.
• Deep expertise in Global Funds Transfer and Electronic Payment Processing.
• Hands-on experience with FED, CHIPS, and SWIFT systems and protocols.
• Strong understanding of OFAC compliance and experience with related screening systems.
• Familiarity with global markets and the transfer of foreign and domestic funds.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and investigation skills.
