This role oversees architecture, development lifecycle, and operational delivery across multiple teams, driving technical excellence, scalability, and reliability. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the position champions innovation, continuous improvement, and integration of AI-enabled features. The leader mentors engineering talent, manages complex initiatives, and ensures solutions meet quality and business objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and high performance within a dynamic technology environment.

The Squiggly Experience platform delivers an advanced AI-powered chatbot used by over 2.5 million Walmart associates worldwide. The team focuses on building scalable, flexible front-end architecture and reusable UX components to enhance digital experiences along with unified Squiggly metrics for all partners and stakeholders. Operating in an Agile environment, the team drives innovative solutions by integrating AI capabilities and metrics into the platform. Members collaborate closely to design and maintain robust systems that support business and technical goals. Leadership fosters technical excellence, mentorship, and strategic problem-solving to ensure continuous improvement and effective stakeholder engagement across projects.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
Option 2: 7 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
