About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Lead to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java technologies, proven leadership experience, and the ability to guide a team in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews.
Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Drive best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
Ensure performance optimization, application security, and scalability of solutions.
Manage project deliverables, timelines, and risk mitigation.
Conduct technical interviews and contribute to building a high-performing engineering team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 2+ years in a lead/mentorship role.
Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
Proficiency with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Nice to Have
Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud-native solutions.
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
