Position Summary:

A leading financial services firm is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Tech Lead to manage technology lifecycle and Evergreen initiatives across its application ecosystem. This individual will oversee cross-functional coordination, dependency management, and enterprise reporting to support both ongoing operations and strategic technology improvements.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Ecosystem Oversight & Dependency Management
  • Maintain a comprehensive view of application dependencies within the business unit.
  • Scope work for technology lifecycle and Evergreen activities.
  • Coordinate across technical and business teams to engage appropriate stakeholders.

2. Prioritization & Book of Work Governance
  • Validate the Book of Work in partnership with PMO and business stakeholders.
  • Prioritize tasks based on risk, business value, and budget considerations.
  • Escalate financial constraints as needed.

3. Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Communication
  • Provide updates via steering committees and monthly business reviews.
  • Communicate key milestones, risks, and progress transparently to leadership.

4. Request Intake Management
  • Review incoming requests, including business asks and urgent risk mitigation efforts.
  • Evaluate and route items appropriately to the prioritized workstream.

5. Agile Support & Escalation Handling
  • Participate in daily stand-ups to monitor progress and remove blockers.
  • Escalate critical issues and provide project-level oversight across teams.
  • Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, and operations teams.

6. Promote Enterprise IT Standards
  • Work with enterprise architecture and IT service teams to align solutions with firm-wide standards.
  • Reduce reliance on non-standard technologies and encourage cost-effective practices.

7. Best Practices & Knowledge Sharing
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge transfer across application development teams.
  • Establish guidelines and repeatable approaches for managing technical risks.

8. Dashboard & Reporting Management
  • Maintain multiple dashboards (internal and enterprise) to reflect Evergreen and project statuses.
  • Share insights in weekly and monthly leadership forums.

9. Project Coordination & Follow-ups
  • Organize and lead cross-team meetings.
  • Ensure timely updates and progress tracking for over 100 active Evergreen items annually.
  • Follow up on outstanding issues with relevant teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Experienced technical project manager with a background in large-scale enterprise environments
  • Skilled in managing technology lifecycle projects and Evergreen portfolios
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies and reporting tools
  • Ability to drive alignment across infrastructure, development, and business functions
