Job Details

The SAP Service Delivery Manager is responsible for the efficient, timely, and quality-driven delivery of all SAP-related services across the organization, including implementation, support, and upgrades. This position has a specific focus on SAP Ariba platform and secondarily, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) reporting capabilities. This role ensures the efficient, timely, and high-quality delivery of SAP Ariba and reporting services across the organization spanning implementation, support, and enhancement in alignment with strategic business goals. The incumbent must possess a deep understanding of relevant end-to-end procurement and finance business flows and extensive experience in leading technical SAP teams to meet enterprise needs.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Lead SAP Ariba and SAC initiatives to support procurement and finance transformation, ensuring alignment with business strategy and compliance requirements.
  2. Manage the end-to-end SAP service delivery lifecycle from planning and execution through to support and continuous improvement ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, and quality benchmarks.
  3. Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional needs in Source-to-Invoice (STI), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R) processes into scalable SAP Ariba and SAC solutions.
  4. Oversee integration between SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, and SAC, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and automation of key workflows.
  5. Drive SAP project execution (implementations, upgrades, migrations, and enhancements) while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality.
  6. Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of SAP consultants, developers, and analysts, promoting excellence in solution delivery and team performance.
  7. Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, and IT leadership to ensure system solutions meet compliance, audit, and strategic reporting requirements.
  8. Manage vendor and third-party relationships including SAP and implementation partners for service delivery, performance, and contract management.
  9. Ensure robust risk management, data security, and adherence to regulatory, audit, and HIPAA standards.
  10. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the SAP landscape, leveraging automation, analytics, and best practices to optimize performance and business outcomes.12. Understand and ensure compliance with Audit requirements.

JOB SCOPE:
This position operates with a high level of autonomy and requires strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic planning abilities. The SAP Technical Delivery Manager interacts with internal departments, executive leadership, and external vendors to ensure SAP service excellence and alignment with business goals. The role includes managing and supporting a cross-functional team and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The incumbent plays a critical role in shaping the long-term SAP strategy of the organization.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):

  • Must have 8+ years of experience in SAP delivery and management, including SAP Ariba, S/4HANA (FICO, MM, BRIM), and SAC Reporting. Demonstrated leadership in managing technical SAP teams supporting complex global deployments is a must.
  • Must have Project Management expertise leading large scale projects thru delivery. PMP certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM tools and SAP service management platforms
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management
  • Must be able to work in a standard office environment, which includes prolonged sitting and viewing computer monitors, and operating office equipment such as a keyboard, copier, and telephone
  • May require occasional travel to vendor sites or corporate locations
  • Minimum Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or HS Diploma and 10+ years of relevant experience.
