Job Description:
  • The SAP AMS Delivery Manager will act as the primary onsite contact for managing AMS operations on the SAP S/4HANA RISE platform.
  • The role includes end-to-end responsibility for incident, problem, change, and release management, stakeholder engagement, team leadership, operational health monitoring, and service governance, all within a global delivery model.
  • This role also requires close collaboration with SAP, hyperscalers, IT teams, and third-party service providers.

Responsibilities or Duties:

  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for all AMS-related activities on SAP S/4HANA RISE.
  • Manage day-to-day delivery operations across SAP functional and technical domains
  • Govern SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics; drive continuous service improvement initiatives.
  • Lead incident, problem, change, and release management processes in line with ITIL standards.
  • Oversee transition from project to support, including knowledge transfer and ramp-up.
  • Interface with SAP, hyperscalers, customer IT teams, and third-party providers.
  • Monitor operational health, manage risks proactively, and ensure service continuity.
  • Ensure optimal use of ServiceNow for ticket logging, tracking, reporting, and automation.
  • Mentor and manage distributed SAP consultant teams across time zones.
  • Collaborate internally on staffing, escalations, quality assurance, and innovation.
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, and overall project P&L.
  • Conduct governance, service reviews, compliance checks, and reporting.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 10+ years of SAP Delivery experience with 3+ years managing S/4HANA RISE AMS projects.
  • Deep understanding of RISE with SAP architecture and governance.
  • Experience in 2 3 full lifecycle S/4HANA AMS projects including steady-state delivery.
  • Proven ITIL process knowledge and implementation (ITIL v4 preferred).
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow operations, automation, and reporting.
  • Strong experience with global delivery coordination (onsite/offshore/nearshore).
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder, and customer communication skills.
  • Experience in continuous improvement, automation, and shift-left strategies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver operational excellence.

Should have:

  • SAP S/4HANA or module-specific certifications.
  • ITIL v4 certification.
  • PMP/Prince2 certification (preferred).
  • Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments and integrations.
